Twitter Mass / Bulk Direct Message (DM) Tools

Bulk Direct Message Twitter DM

Why would you want to direct message all or a group of your twitter followers at once?

Personally, I did it to build social media relationships : I offered my followers support. I asked them if they needed my support on Faceboook, Linkedin or Google+. I suggested that I could follow, like, share or connect with them on an alternative platform.

My goal was to increase my social media network by helping them first. Who would turn down an offer to get more likes or shares, that’s why why market on social networks right?

In psychology they call it the law of reciprocity, or best paraphrased as ” I’ll scratch your back, if you scratch mine”. However, sometimes we don’t always say there’s anything desired in return when we are strategically positioning ourselves.

After I completed what they wanted, I would DM my followers stating I hope it helps and then left a link with them where they could reciprocate the offer.

I used the TwitterDMer tool because it allowed me to send personalised direct messages to my new followers and also specify select user details if I wished. And it’s Free!

TIPS: Use the {firstname} and or {website} codes in your DM. This creates a personal and relevant message to your followers. The first time I used it, I didn’t realise I could do this and sent a generic message which in hindsight may have felt spammy. You live and learn!

Other Twitter Automation Tools

TweetManager to auto follow users, autoreply and schedule tweets. It’s FREE.

TweetAdder: A desktop based software with all the bells and whistles. There’s a FREE trail but it is a premium software you will have to pay for.

Top Tip: Don’t try to sell something this way. A softsell by developing relationships first is the only way forward for businesses in today’s world. Customers are far more savvy than you may think.
